Rules

You must be a paid up for 2023-2024 member to participate. Please pay your dues as early as possible, but no later than the day of the hanging.

In selecting your images, keep in mind that they must be "City Hall friendly". Also please follow these guidelines:

1. All frames should be at least 16" x 20 " (or visual equivalent for different aspect ratios) but no larger than 24" x 36". Small prints in oversized frames are highly discouraged. See #2 below

2. Prints should be around 12"x15" or equivalent for 16x20 frames, with proportionally larger prints in the larger frames. Disproportionally small images in large frames are highly discouraged as they will be “lost” visually. Please let us know if you would like to show a small print and we will see what might work.

3. Frames must be sturdy and wired. You should be able to pick up your framed image by the top rail of your frame with the rail bending or becoming loose and the hanging system requires a wire across the back. If the frame is not sturdy or does not have a wire attached to designed attachment points, your image will not be hung.

4. Frames and mats may be any color but please avoid visually "heavy" frames that distract from the other images in the show.

5. Protect your images. Glass or Plexiglas to protect your print is highly recommended but not mandatory.

6. Special print types that are not framed (metal, canvas) must be visually equivalent to the framed images, viz., 16" x 20" and have a hanging wire securely fastened.
